  • An average workday of 8 hours x 5 days a weeks = 40 hours per week
  • 40 hours/week x 52 weeks = 2,080 hours a year
  • 2,080 hours/year x 5 years = 10,400 hours

5 years is what they say you need in order to become a subject matter expert. Go ahead…i’ll see you in 5 years and tell me if that topic/subject you were studying up on or working towards is still relevant in the digital marketing world.

The media & advertising industry in the 21st Century is built on speed, being able to adapt, and efficiency. The extends to the platforms that we leverage, the technologies that we use, tracking capabilities, channels we advertise on, etc. In 5 years our landscape will look completely different.

I have logged my 10,000 and will continue to put in those hours to educate myself within an evolving industry. I have worked on both the media agency side as well as the client/brand side at different levels of management/leadership.

My goal with Remarketerz is to create a platform that can provide digital marketers a place to find real world information and strategies that can be relevant in their day-to-day, on our most pressing and emerging topics/platforms.
